    Ya, the last hand I think I would have check, just b/c you had the flush draw out there and top pair.
    If you only had top pair I would have bet out like you did, but you could have maybe got more chips out of him by checking b/c then he wouldn’t be putting you on a J really on the turn.
    But I don’t really think you can make a bad play there, only a better one.

    smart guy…….i think like you do, so true about value of hands out of position means nothing especially when out of position unless you have a made hand….too many players play poker like they see on tv these days

    for me a pocket five guy is that imbecil which calls every raise with a small pair, even though the table has 3 cards that can make a pair bigger then his pocket pair.
    And the irony is that very often that imbecil gets his trips. Those donks drive me nuts.

    you must have a larger sample size than a year convincingly determine a quality of results. but you will only have good results if you continuously make choices that incur positive eventual value… luck matters in short term only
